The dramatic Tillikum Black features a rare solid wood top set on striking matte black frame and legs. The minimalist design by Kirk Van Ludwig combines these elements to create a modern handcrafted bench.

  • 8" L x 12" W x 18" H. Tailored sizes available.
  • Natural Douglas Fir, sustainably sourced on Vancouver Island, Canada from a private family-owned wood lot finished in a natural whitewash oil and wax. The Douglas Fir version is unique as a solid 4" thick timber.
  • They will feature slight checks and cracks, as with any solid wood will expand and contract seasonally.
  • Expect variations in multiples.  Knots and character are what make the Douglas Fir versions a standout.


    Matte black frame and legs using solid surface material made entirely of recycled paper and a non-petroleum resin, FSC certified.

Simply use a damp microfibre cloth. We recommend Osmo wash & care to retain lustre. Avoid soap cleaners, do not use glass cleaners on acrylic furniture.
